Monona Wisconsin Market Update | Lauer Realty Group Mark Gladue

Hey there Madison, it's Mark Gladue, Broker Associate with Lauer Realty Group. Today I am in Monona, WI. Monona just sits right on top of Lake Monona. It's just to the south and east of Madison. It may be a small city, but there are lots of great things to do.

I wanted to tell you a little bit more about the year-over-year sales that have been happening. We're looking at 2020 and 2021 so that those of you thinking about moving in 2022 have a much better and clearer understanding of what's going on.

One thing that didn't change is the median home price. In both 2021 and 2020, it was $337,000. The days on market only shifted by one day; that means that in 2020, it was seven days, and in 2021, it was six days.

The biggest change has been the average price per square foot. So the average price per square foot in 2020 was $201, and the average price per square foot in 2021 was $221. If you're thinking about selling your home, that market has not only gone up since 2020, but now from 2021 to 2022, it's getting to go even further.

If you have any questions, if you've been thinking about selling your home, please feel free to reach out to me at (608) 658-0467. Thanks so much; we're glad you stopped by!
