So today is all about how to get around having to search for homes on Zillow. Also if you're looking for a "deal" in this market because you hear that things are cooling off, or because you hear there's a shift in the market, this one's for you too. So first, let's start with Zillow.

Zillow has an algorithm where they don't actually show you that properties are under contract, and that's because they want you to keep coming back and keep making phone calls. The reality is until it goes under pending, then it's still going to show up as active, and it's going to be really frustrating.

I get calls all the time from people who get really pissed off because that property is no longer available. Now, if you're looking for a deal in this market, I don't think you're going to find many. But look at homes that have been on the market median days of over 15, and I'll bet you'll find a little wiggle room in that price.
